Birthday Party for Julan
Today was Julan's 1st birthday party. The Queen of Tarts made the muffins for the children - although I spotted plenty of adults munching them too....And its safe to say they all went down well ;)

Chocolate, raspberry and lavender muffins
Yesterday I made some of these delicious babies for Tenue de Nimes and then Miriam came round and we polished off the last of them. And yes they were delicious if I do say so myself! The flowers and raspberry flavours really complimented each other.

Lemon Muffins at Tenue de Nimes
So yesterday my lemon poppy seed muffins were up for grabs at the exhibition opening of 'Frozen Denim' photographs at Tenue de Nimes on Elandsgracht. Hopefully this will become a regular occurence! They went down well with René and Menno's followers...one of which happened to be Garance Doré who I saw last tuesday at Foam gallery talking about fashion and her fashion blog. She tried one of my cakes and said I could be her best friend - what a compliment!
